Organization: The organizer of the International Women’s Podcast Awards (the “IWPAs”) for 2026 is Tink Media LLC (the “Organizer”).
Participation: By participating in the IWPAs, you are deemed to have read and agreed to these conditions and any additional instructions on the awards’ website.
Eligibility:
All categories of the IWPAs are open to shows from any genre or style (fiction, non-fiction, narrative, interview, panel discussion, investigative, etc.).
Submissions can come from independently produced shows, solo podcasts, large-scale productions, and everything in between — every submission is treated equally.
The IWPAs are queer and trans inclusive, allowing submissions from any creators who feel represented by the awards.
Only one entry is permitted per category for each podcast. A single podcast may submit entries to multiple categories.
With each entry you can submit up to 10 minutes of audio that best fits that category and will wow our panel of judges. Audio must be submitted as a .MP3 or .WAV file. Audio submissions may be edited from multiple points of a single episode to create an entry, but the included material may only be taken from one episode of your podcast.
Entries are required to be in English, except for the category of “Moment of Podcasting Panache in a Language Other Than English”. This category requires the submission of an English-language transcript to accompany your audio so our judges can read along as they listen to your entry.
The audio entered in the awards must have been released to the public between June 10th, 2025 and July 31st, 2026. If the entered audio has not been released publicly by the time of the submission deadline, it will not be eligible to win.
All submissions must be completed in full and received via the entry link and accompanied by the specific entry requirements by the posted closing date of the awards submissions. The Organizer takes no responsibility for entries that are lost, late, or incomplete.
The Organizer has a zero tolerance policy against any form of harassment, discrimination, or disrespect and reserves the right to reject and remove from consideration any entry that is deemed inappropriate or discriminatory, without a refund of any entry fees.
Refunds: Once payment has been completed through the awards submission platform, no refunds will be offered.
Prize: The prize for winning an award for the IWPAs will be a trophy. If winners are unable to collect their award in person, best efforts will be made to send the physical award to the winner via postage. There is no cash alternative.
Judging: Judging for the IWPAs will be completed by a panel of members of the podcasting space. The judges’ decision for all awards is final, and the Organizer reserves the right to alter the judging panel if required without prior notice to entrants.
Likeness: Entrants, judges, and attendees of the event consent to their image and name being used as part of marketing and publicity materials, as well as being published on the Organizer’s website. Each nominee agrees to provide the IWPAs with non-exclusive rights to use submissions either in their entirety or via clips for marketing and publicity purposes, either through the IWPAs website and social media, or other media outlets.
Cancellation Policy: If it becomes necessary, the Organizer reserves the right to reschedule the awards / event. In such a circumstance, the Organizer will provide participants with as much notice as possible. You understand that the Organizer will make reasonable efforts to reschedule the event for a date and location that is agreeable to participants, but may not be able to accommodate your schedule, and that you will not be entitled to a refund if the event cannot be rescheduled for a date that is agreeable to you. In the event that the awards / event must be cancelled, the Organizer reserves the right to do so. Such cancellation may occur for a variety of reasons, including low attendance or the unavailability of the venue. In such an event, the Organizer will give you as much notice as possible, and shall do its best to provide a partial or full refund or to provide a comparable “make good” option. These factors will be inclusive of, but not limited to: weather, natural disasters, Federal/State announcements, strikes, and the like.
Representation and Warranties: Participants represent and warrant that: (a) any material provided as a part of an entry is or will be original (with the exception of material in the public domain) or duly licensed from the rightholders; (b) the provided material does not and will not infringe upon the copyright of any person or entity; and (c) to the best of the participant’s knowledge, the material does not constitute a libel or slander of any person or entity or infringe upon the right of privacy or any other right of any person or entity.
Governing Law: These terms, regardless of the place of its execution, will be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of New York. Any claim, controversy or other dispute arising out of or in connection with these terms will be submitted to arbitration in New York City before a single arbitrator pursuant to JAMS’ Comprehensive Arbitration Rules and Procedures (and in accordance with the Expedited Procedures in those Rules) or pursuant to JAMS’ Streamlined Arbitration Rules and Procedures, where applicable.
Severability: If any provision of these terms shall be held to be invalid or unenforceable for any reason, the remaining provisions shall continue to be valid and enforceable. If a court finds that any provision of these terms is invalid or unenforceable, but that by limiting such provision it would become valid and enforceable, then such provision shall be deemed to be written, construed, and enforced as so limited.
Waiver of Contractual Right: The failure of either party to enforce any provision of these terms shall not be construed as a waiver or limitation of that party's right to subsequently enforce and compel strict compliance with every provision of these terms.
Miscellaneous: These terms constitute the entire understanding between the parties with respect to the transactions contemplated herein and supersedes all other agreements and understandings between the parties. These terms shall not be deemed to create a partnership or joint venture between the parties and neither party may act as an agent for the other. The provisions that by their content are intended to remain in full force and effect following the termination of the awards shall survive the expiration or earlier termination. Each party has had the opportunity to have these terms reviewed by legal counsel of their choice, and has done so, or chosen not to do so after reading and understanding the entirety of the terms.
